Transition Committee Members Print E-mail

On Saturday, October 31, 2009, deanery delegates to the 172nd Diocesan Convention elected those who will serve on the Transition Committee for the election of the diocese's eleventh bishop. Later that day, the diocesan Standing Committee made four appointments to the Transition Committee.

Elected were: *
  • Ms. Kim Greene and the Very Rev. Gloria Payne-Carter (Central Erie)
  • Ms. Signe Rominger and the Very Rev. Susan A. Williams (Chautauqua)
  • Ms. Sheila Fournier and the Rev. Vicki Zust (Eastern Erie)
  • Mr. Owen Gould and the Rev. Deacon Kirk Katner (Genesee Region)
  • The Rev. Ellen Brauza and Ms. Mary Weiland (Niagara)
  • The Rev. Deacon Paulette Carney and Mr. Michael Maciejewski (Northern Erie)
  • The Rev. Deacon Polly Bowen and Ms. Linda Makson (Southern Erie)
Appointed by Standing Committee were:
  • The Rev. Gordon DeLaVars (Chautauqua)
  • The Rev. Philip Dougharty (Central Erie)
  • Mr. Jason Elliott (Central Erie)
  • Ms. Karen Gengo (Eastern Erie)
